Don’t you hate it when people make a situation all about themselves? Yet Jesus says more than once that it is all about him: all of Scripture and all of life. How can this be?  Sometimes it seems like following Jesus is all hard work and no play, but if we look at his life we can see that is not the case. Come see him attend a wedding and its week-long reception!  What's worth waiting for? How long would you wait for something you really valued? What would make it worth your while? In this worship service we ask Simeon what his answers were.  We are all seeking something more, something deeper. Some do it haphazardly, chasing impulses and felt needs. Some do it more thoughtfully and persistently. How would you describe your search? Let Jesus, the Light of the World guide your way. |
