 So how did this all get started? By "this" I mean "following Jesus" or Church. Why did this multicultural movement not die out when its founder, Jesus, did? Why and how did Jesus' followers keep telling the news of his resurrection even when it led to persecution? Let's read and work through what happened. Maybe more importantly, is what we call "church" today really much like what Jesus intended? Are there things we can and should do differently? Starting September 13, 2026, 10:45am.

We have groups and classes for all ages, even two options for adults! Come and see. We have a place for you.   This summer we are looking at lesser known people in the Bible. They had rather ordinary roles in life, and some knew great disappointment or suffering. As we identify with them we can see better how God wants to work in our lives. Join us each Sunday at 10:00 am and see how so many "nobodies" are truly "somebody"!

 The beauty of the Christmas season sometimes reminds us of the people we have lost or the losses we have suffered. The long, dark week before Christmas is a good time to gather, to sit with our griefs, and to offer them up to God. Our annual Blue Christmas service is a time to remember and name the losses that come as part of living as caring persons, looking forward with hope and peace.
