One of the remarkable things about Jesus that often gets overlooked is that bothered to show up at all. We are sent because Jesus was sent. Let's work through the implications of this together in worship on Sunday, September 26, 2021, beginning at 10:45am. It's easy to love the people we like, and we are right to do so. Jesus also calls us to love the people in our lives who we don't like so much. How can we sustain the effort to love the "unloveable" people in our lives? We pursue that in worship Sunday, September 19 at 10:45. The beginning of the school year is a great time to re-energize and refocus: What do we need to know? And how can we learn what we were created to do? As followers of Jesus we are intensely interested in what he has to say to us. Our worship together will focus on what Jesus clearly says is The Main Thing. Note that our worship time now shifts to 10:45 am. Labor Day Weekend reminds us that work is a never-ending part of life. Why is it so wearying? Does it have to be? What does Jesus say about this part of our daily experience? Join us for worship Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 9:30am. |
