Today's worship service is centered around the miraculous events of Jesus' birth as told in the book of Luke. Music, costumes, songs, instruments, Scripture, and narration are provided by our congregation, its' children, youth, and sometimes even adults. This video contains highlights of Christmas programs from 1998 to 2019. It will be available beginning 6:00 am December 12, 2020. Happiness is fragile, don't you think? Try joy instead. When encountering adversity happiness wilts like a flower, but joy grows and deepens even in affliction. This worship service also includes a look at the St. Lucia tradition (in Swedish: Sankta Lucia), the story of a young woman who chose the joy of a life in Christ rather than family riches or the love of her fiancé. We need more than inner peace, more than peace in our families, more than peace between political parties, and we are not very good at any of these. Why?
