Our first “Blue Christmas” service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. In this season of glad anticipation the grief we carry from losses we suffer often feels awkward or stays buried, but it doesn’t just go away. At some level everyone knows what it is to suffer, and grief is never fully banished from this life. Christ was born to meet us in our desolation and to be the way of life for us. Blue Christmas is a service for those who grieve, and can be of comfort to those who follow Jesus and those who do not. The service will be available live-streamed as well as in person. Please feel free to invite anyone you know who may benefit from a gentle and encouraging word. It may be just right for you as well. Comments are closed.
